CLEXOCONPLAST-SP701 is based on Sulphonated Naphthalene Polymers and supplied as a brown liquid instantly dispersible in water. CLEXOCONPLAST-SP701has been specially formulated to give high water reductions upto 25% without loss of workability or to produce high quality concrete of reduced permeability.

CLEXOCONPLAST-SP701 complies with IS: 9103:1999 and BS: 5075 Part 3.

The application temperature should be between 5°C to 45°C. Application procedures may vary slightly depending upon site conditions. The general recommended guidelines for the application of the waterproofing system are as follows:

COMPATIBILITY

It can be used with all types of cement except high

Alumina cement. Site trial should be carried out to optimize dosages.

The optimum dosage is best determined by site trials with the concrete mix which enables the effects of workability, strength gain or cement reduction to be measured. Site trials with CLEXOCONPLAST-SP701 should always be compared with mix containing no admixture. As a guide, the rate of addition is generally in the range of 0.5 - 2.0 liters /100 kg cement.

The measured quantity of CLEXOCONPLAST-SP701 should be added along with the gauging water. For best results, add CLEXOCONPLAST-SP701superplasticizer in the last phase after rewetting the mix with 80% of the total water required.

DOSAGE

The rate of addition of CLEXOCONPLAST-SP701 is typical between 160 ml to 400 ml per 100 kg cement.

At dosage beyond 400 ml per 100kg of cement, it may act as a retarding plasticizer.

EFFECTS OF OVER DOSAGE

An over dose of double the recommended amount of CLEXOCONPLAST-SP701 will result in very high workability and some retardation of setting time will occur. However, the ultimate compressive strength will not be impaired.

Compatibility: Can be used with all types of cements except high alumina cement.

CLEXOCONPLAST-SP701 is compatible with other types of CLEXO admixtures when added separately to the mix. Site trials should be carried out to optimize dosages.

Workability:

 Can be used to produce flowing concrete that requires no compaction.

Some minor adjustments may be required to produce high workable mix without segregation.

CLEXOCONPLAST-SP501 is a high performance set reducing, superplasticising admixture for use in concrete and Portland cement.

CLEXOCONPLAST-SP501admixture helps in reducing setting times ingeneral and especially in lower atmospheric temperature, produce early high and ultimate increased strengths. It reduces bleed and segregation and improves work ability too.

CLEXOCONPLAST-SP501does not contain any added chloride ions ensuring that the product does not support corrosion of reinforcing steel. Being anti-corrosive in nature, helps concrete and steel to prevent corrosion.

DIRECTION FOR USE:-

CLEXOCONPLAST-SP501 should be added to the concrete mix/ cement mortar during the mixing cycle at the same time as the water and the aggregates. Never add CLEXOCONPLAST-SP501 to the dry cement.

This is compatible with most admixtures used in the production of quality concrete including normal, other mid-range water-reducing admixtures, accelerators, retarders.
